As far as I know 7000 models doesn't have magazine conception (4 drive in bay) as v400/800.
Only common disk row with 12-24 disk in enclosure. For example meaning "magazine" is not correct for 7400.
I confused a bit. I can't find any explanation for CPG availability policy "magazine" between 10000 and 7000.

HA MAG means that no two members of the same RAID set are in the same drive magazine. This allows a wider stripe with fewer drive chassis; for example, a RAID 5 stripe size of 7+1 (set size 8) would be possible with only four drive chassis, provided each chassis had at least two drive magazines.

If hardware conception for 7400 is not "magazine" how it will work ?

Ha mag on 7400 is essentially default stripe behavior for a "normal" array, data and parity won't be on the same disk but no guarantees are made beyond that. The mag is a single disk. If you're big enough to justify a 7400 over a 7200 you almost certainly should be using ha cage which protects against the loss of a full shelf. If I had known that 4 shelves works for ha cage with 6+2 raid 6 u would have everything ha cage. As it is I'd need a head swap to 7400c to make it work in my environment, live and learn.

Well. I confused. Today my lead system administrator said me that on 7400 models "magazine" policy - means enclosure. Like cage. Does it correct ? I thought magazine = disk.
Where can I find information about 7400 HA policies ? Every best practice describing only v400/800 models.

Your admin is mistaken, all 7000 Series Arrays:-

Cage = Enclosure level availability
Magazine = Disk level availability
