Post subject:  Windows 2008 cluster sudden failover

Hi,

We have a 2 node Windows 2008 failover cluster which suddenly failed over without warning yesterday evening. Upon inspection I noticed the following Windows event log entry which corresponds to when the failover occured:

Error 12
Source: PlugPlayManager
The device 'Generic SCSI Enclosure Device' (SCSI\Enclosure&Ven_3PARdata&Prod_SES\5&d6741c5&0&0002fe) disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal.

I'm very new to HP 3PAR but it seems like one of the nodes in the cluster lost connection to the disks. The cluster logs do not show anything. How do i go about investigating what may have caused this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

I've raised a support case with HP but can anyone suggest what logs I could examine to help with the investigation?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
