Hi,

We have a new 3par 7200 with 4 SSD drives.
I want to activate the AFC but I don't understand why there is 50% of my SSD used for spare ? How can I remove this spare to set up my AFC ?
I need only spare for data, not for AFC, right ?

I understood.
I remove my spare chunklets in my SSD disks and I created the flashcache

Not sure what you have managed to remove, but with 4 x SSD's using AFC you need to have at least 1 disks worth of spare chunklets to support AFC and provide future proofing. Make sure you know what you're doing before changing the sparing layout.
