anyone got good step-by-step instructions for double SLD config of a 3PAR 7200 2-node environment?
having issues on the remote async leg from two arrays to a single array where the array won't allow the sharing of resources on the RCFC link. If I used the RCIP port I can share this port to two arrays (not ideal as this limits to 1GB)

RCFC ports form a dedicated link between two arrays. You cannot share an RCFC port, and use them for multiple arrays.

In this case, you would want to add 2x of the 4 port FC HBA. Use 2 ports for RCFC to the synchronous leg, and 2 ports for RCFC to the async leg.

That said, RCIP over your async leg should honestly be plenty of bandwidth depending on how often you're syncing. One trick I've seen where bandwidth is an issue is actually increasing the frequency of syncs, since each sync will be smaller, and complete faster.

Thanks - so the next question I have is how many RCFC ports are required on the async leg.
I have two connections from system1 to system2 for sync, and two connections from system2 to system1 sync - these each local system has two connections each way.
I have two connections from system1 to system3 async and two connections from system2 to system3 async - but it looks like I need a "backup" connection running between system3 and each system1 and system2. This means I need an additional four connections just for resilience, which takes up all the FC ports on the 3PAR - as its a 7200 with its additional FC card gives four ports per controller and we need to use them all for replication as RCFC ports which seems excessive.
If this is the case I haven't enough ports intersite... equal huge cost due to backup links.
