A client has a vsp and purchased a physical unit to replace it with. I assume this is supported. Does anyone have documentation on how to do this or does this simply require the replacement procedure. Any help is appreciated.

There is no V2P or host migration process if that is what your asking. It will most likely be the same process as a service replacement or service upgrade.

Yes I was not expecting a conversion process. I am trying to find the doc for the SP replacement but the stupid HP site will not work.

Anyone have this doc?

I don't know about a doc, BUT during the setup wizard for the SP, there is an option to replace an existing sp. should be pretty straight forward.

Yes this turned out to be very easy. You just copy all the settings from the existing SP then halt it. Bring up the new SP and configure it as normal. Just make sure if you use the setup wizard to not rebirth the array :)
