I installed a 7200c today and it came with 3.2.1 MU2, I upgraded it to 3.2.1 EMU2 and then loaded patch 10 on, so I have patches 10 and 11, pretty sure that's everything for now.

Hi,

why did you upgrade to EMU2, and not just install all patches? Is MU2 + P07 + P10 + P11 different from EMU2 with Patches?

Two of our 7400 were upgraded from 3.1.3 MU1 to 3.1.2 EMU2 with P07 and P11, no Problems during the update, but we nevertheless are not sure if everything went right: The SPs say "Version 3.2.1.200 + P07, P11 (3.2.1.200-EMU2 now available)."

CLI showversion says
"Release version 3.2.1 (MU2)
Patches: P07,P11"

Did HP install the wrong Code (MU2 instead of EMU2), or is there any other explanation for this?

I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure whether emu is different to mu, but in the release notes it lists more fixes, and is dated after, so I made the assumption that it was different, it would be helpful if hp informed us of the many different versions we have now, what with GA, EGA, MU, EMU, patches, it's all getting too much, too many versions to deal with.

I went with it to cover the bases, but then it seems like I might have missed patch 7 assuming that it's contents were included due to publish dates for the versions.
