1 Class disk and 2 CPG

Hi,

Is it possible to have 2 CPG with one class disk (type & capacity) ?
I will have a 3PAR with SSD disk. I would like to allocate a partion to store my Production (database, http, applications servers) permanent data and the rest managed by AO ?

Absolutely. I do this myself all the time and have 1 cpg with ao, and 1 without for each disk type.

I do that in my 7400, have SSD and 10K, the 10K is split across 2 CPGs, Raid 1 and Raid 5

As above this is possible but you need to be careful if sharing both pinned volumes and AO in the SSD tier. If you don't set the CPG warning correctly or don't use FPVV's for the pinned volumes then AO has the potential to use all available capacity in the tier, meaning any pinned TPVV's could end up with no space to grow into.
