Hi,

Is there a good location somewhere that tells you which patches to install? Like an nice overview with each patch, what they fix and which one they supersede. I suppose itwould also be nice to know which patches are needed before going from version x to y eg.

Ask 10 people and you're likely to get at least 5 answers.. (or 5 questions in return). 3PAR SPS (3par-sps@hpe.com) will inform you what the bleeding edge is.



I've yet to find one. Release notes states if they supersedes any older patches, but that will take some time to collect all release notes and collaborate the info into an overview. Would be really nice to have an overview like that on the forums.


3PAR SPS will inform you of that if you let them do the upgrade. As they do it for free I don't see any reason not to let them do it.

If I understand the question right, then the answer to your question is on partner portal 3PAR OS and Patches section, where is always pdf Patches and SP code information v2016xxxx. In that document you can find all info about patches.

Aditional question - someone knows if the ftp for download is gone forever, or only access is different ?

Download is permited only if you have a vaild contract (SAID).
