How can I move disk from one slot in 3par to another slot? I need to do this since there are few disks not installed as pairs inside cage. So I need to remove disk from one slot and install it into different cage to create pair. Already there is data on these disks.

HPE sells a service for this.

My experience is that is just as cheap and simple to buy the additional disks to get this done right unless you have large SSDs. If HPE has installed/upgraded system like this, you should complain.

Moving stuff around yourself isn't easy-peasy. This is why HPE generally always adds the installation service even for upgrades.. Getting it right the first time will save you a lot of time and possibly frustration. First you need to empty the disks you're moving, then clearing the spares to ready the disk, and then dismiss it. They added some commands so it would be easier in 3.1.3 or 3.2.1. I _think_ the command is relocatepd, but I'm not sure. You could check the CLI guide if you want to try this yourself.
