HPE Storage Users Group

I've got a new array that is showing a strange linked name in SSMC for the SP. On my first array it matches the serial number (or it did, for some reason it's not even showing the field anymore) but on this array it's some weird random string. Anyone else seeing this?

Should I attempt to reinstall the SP? (my colleague and HPE tech had a little trouble initially and ended up creating a new SP during the 3.3.1 update so I wonder if something went wonky and caused the naming issue)

anyone else seeing this (and also seeing the link to the SP not there after an update to 3.3.1?)

Edit: forgot to mention that if i click on that random string, it actually links to the correct IP of the SP.

Name scheme seems to have changed for SP v5.0 and it will not longer contain the 3PAR serial.
