Hi Guys,

I have questions about licenses. I Need buy new disks, i need to buy new licenses for the new disks?

This seems to be a V-class/10k system without simplified licensing(as thin provisioning isn't "unlimited") so you would need a license per feature per dmag.

I'm not really sure if they still sell V-class stuff, but if they do you might consider converting to simplified licensing as it included some features, removed all GB-related licensing and added a licensing cap if you have a big system.

On the other hand.... V-class was expensive, V-class is expensive, the support is expensive, everything is expensive and as your license was created 6 years ago your system is most likely 6 years or older... So you might not need a really big upgrade to have a good business case for a complete renewal... Did I mention that V-class was expensive? :) Last 3PAR with FC in the backend.
