first of all: checkhealth has to be done before updating
Anyway. For cleanup you have to be root, so only HP can do that.
Last year I had this situation after installing some patches. The supporter from HP India told me everything is OK and successful. I told the supporter: No, have a look at output from chechhealth. So Indish supporter told me he is only responsible for patch install, not for resulting problems. I had to open an additional incident. So I opened an additional incident and the support from HP Bulgaria fixed the issue. I dont want to tell you my opinion about this support quality because the needed words are political incorrect
