answering me own question: level 2 support says an 8200 is not an all flash array even though it has all SSDs. That's a little disappointing |

I have several 8200s, two of them are "all SSD" and I can see the saturation data automatically - see attached. I have them upgraded to 3.3.1 MU2

Have Systems with SSD & SATA > No Analytics SSD only > Analytics HPE say: "On initial launch only arrays which are all SSD’s are supported with Analytics" They do not say "All-Flash Array only". |

(ie, can you create historical performance graphs) I think "all you need" is SR running ... but it could be that you also need WSAPI running.. (showsr and showwsapi) |

MammaGutt wrote: Is your system reporter running? (ie, can you create historical performance graphs) SR seems to be running. The command looks the same between the working and non working arrays. I made a test report in SSMC using one of the hisotry performance reports and set a 2 week period and I see the data. MammaGutt wrote: I think "all you need" is SR running ... but it could be that you also need WSAPI running.. Don't think WSAPI is needed. It's off on the working array. The thing i did note is the command returned right away on the working one but took a few seconds on the non working way (same thing when I login via SSH, it takes a few seconds before i get the user and password prompts but it's been like that for a while) |

My case is slowly making it's way through HPE to try and figure this out but was wondering what license you guys have on your 8200. Is it the old style one or the new all inclusive one? I doubt that's the issue but who knows... |

I've got the same issue with 2 8200's, however these array's have both flash and spinning disks. Martijn |

I doubt that's the issue but who knows... I've only added 3 systems to SSMC 3.4 so far and they all appear to have the analytics pages; 8200 3.2.2 eMU4 Single Inclusive SSD only 9450 3.3.1 MU2 Multi Inclusive SSD only 9450 3.3.1 MU2 Multi Inclusive SSD only All came with Inclusive license, have two 10400 (no SSD) on old license model and two 8400 (SSD only) that got converted to Inclusive but not tried these yet. |
