IMC 4.3.1 startup issues.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is using the updated IMC 4.3.1?
I can start it on one of my Win2003R2 servers everytime, but on my Win7 laptop 9/10 it fails to start, just flashes the splash screen and dissapears, I have found that my disabling my AV briefly gets me a 7/10 chance of it not starting and once it has decided its not going to start it stays that way for a while.....

I have found a few apps that cause issues with the IMC, googleupdate service if running you may want to try closing and any other Java apps can interfere. The IMC 4.3x is a piece of junk in my opinion and I have escalated it ti HP, 4.2 was far more stable. I find when 4.3 refreshes and you are in provisioning you can loose your possition and that is not fun when you have hundreds of volumes.
I also do not like the vv set views they removed from the left pane. 4.3 is a big step backward.

It works perfectly for me on my Windows 7 Computer , been running it for a few days now without problems.

It works well ,but my computer can't work now ,so i want to buy a new computer in a good price fro it from chinazrh.com
Are all computers it will match well with on the website ?

I have seen that happen more times than I can count. There were two ways we were able to get around the issue.

1. Try to run the program as admin(this worked about 90% of the time)
2. Upgrade to version 4.6.X management console or the new SSMC

If you're using Chrome close it, also check from task manager processes that there are no other Chrome instances running. Once the IMC launches correctly you should be able to reopen the browser. If it's not Chrome try logging off and back on.
