All, Any guidance would be appreciated. Not under contract and more of a home experiment. I do have root access to the controller but I do not have the ability to pull the SP from HP to really initialize it. I don't need to keep any data on the disks and would like to fresh start it and create some CPG's and play around with the array. I dont believe the firmware has been dinged in a few years either and can post the versions shortly. However, right off the bat, I get errors such as these when just trying to get any commands to return some data (shownode, showpd, showsysmgr, etc.): InServ cli% setsysmgr tocgen Are you sure you want to run setsysmgr tocgen? select q=quit y=yes n=no: y Error: Insufficient TOC PDs seen; system would shut down again due to loss of TOC quorum. InServ cli% setsysmgr force_iderecovery Are you sure you want to run setsysmgr force_iderecovery? select q=quit y=yes n=no: y Error: Cannot force system to recover before it has processed a valid TOC. InServ cli% showpd Error: The cache server is waiting for the system manager to finish reporting the system configuration and status. Please try again later. InServ cli% shownode Error: Could not retrieve node information InServ cli% showsysmgr Table of contents (TOC) quorum not reached. Reason for being unable to automatically start: Waiting for 60% of TOC disks to be present before starting (currently 10 of an estimated 38). Run "setsysmgr tocgen" to start despite this. 43 disks were available to be examined for TOCs. InServ cli% shutdownsys halt Could not read domain information InServ cli% shutdownsys reboot Could not read domain information
