Post subject: | 3PAR FCOE DAS |
hello everyone. I have 1 3PAR 7200 with a converged HBA Qlogic QLE8242 on each node. I see that it supports iSCSI and FCoE. Can I use those ports to directly connect a server using an LC-LC cable? The server has an 8Gb HBA Emulex o Qlogic Or can I connect with that converged QLE to a 16Gb Brocade SAN Switch? Do you see it possible? All controller nodes should have 2x 8Gb FC. Those could be direct connected to services with 8Gb HBA. Qlogic QLE8242 is a 10Gb ethernet (converged network) adapter that supports FCoE and iSCSI. This can only be connected to a 10Gbe Ethernet switch. |
